About Chi Omega

Welcome to the Epsilon Alpha chapter of Chi Omega!

Hi there! My name is Maggie Moseley, and I currently serve as the President of the Epsilon Alpha chapter of Chi Omega at The University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Welcome to our website! I hope you are able to catch a glimpse into what it is like to be an Epsilon Alpha!

A little bit about me: Since August 2021, I've cherished every moment as a member of Chi Omega! Over the past three years, I've had the pleasure of forming connections with some of the most caring, genuine, and loyal friends imaginable. These remarkable women have been instrumental in shaping the person I am today, and I can't imagine my life without Chi Omega and the wonderful friendships it has blessed me with.

During my freshman year, I participated in University Sing and Scandals, where I had the joy of continuing my passion for dance alongside twenty of my sisters. Additionally, I took on roles such as Head Banner Chair in Cardinal Cabinet and New Member Educator Assistant, remaining actively involved in Chi Omega and forging meaningful connections with many chapter members. Living in the house during my sophomore year was an experience I'll forever hold dear. Sharing a space with eighty of my closest friends made each day that much more exciting. I also had the privilege of serving as a University Sing Director and being slated to the Executive Board as New Member Educator. Last November, during my junior year, I was slated as the 2024 President of the Epsilon Alpha chapter of Chi Omega. I am incredibly honored and thankful to my peers for entrusting me with this role. I eagerly look forward to the challenges, opportunities, and personal growth that this year will bring.

A little bit about Epsilon Alpha: Our chapter has approximately 300 active members who work hard to fulfill Chi Omega’s Six Purposes of Friendship, High Standards of Personnel, Scholarship, Participation in Campus Activities, Career Development, and Community Service. Through these purposes, our members make our chapter, university, and community a better place. I am honored to be a part of such an outstanding group of women who strive to make themselves and each other better every day.

Founded in 1919, when you walk through the doors of 820 Chautauqua Avenue, you will understand why thousands of women are proud to call Epsilon Alpha home. Every member is unique in her own way, yet our differing personalities and strengths work towards the same purposes and goals. Chi Omega showed me and so many women that Chi Omega is where we are meant to be. This sisterhood has supported me in times of hardship and celebrated me in times of accomplishment. Through Chi Omega, I have not only made lifelong friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life, but I have also grown as an individual that will benefit me far beyond my college years.

Chi Omega has provided me with endless opportunities to grow as a leader, professional, and sister. I am grateful for my sisters who have shaped me into the person I am today, and I could not be more thankful for everything Chi Omega has given me throughout my time as a collegiate member. Chi Omega is the gift that keeps on giving, and is a part of me that I will forever be grateful for. The best part is, it’s not something that ends after graduation, it’s something that stays with you for a lifetime. Chi Omega has changed my life, and I am eternally grateful for its friendships and purposes.

I hope you enjoyed hearing a little bit about the impact Epsilon Alpha has had on my life. Please don’t be afraid to reach out to me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns! My contact information is attached below.
