I am so excited to meet each and every one of you. Recruitment is such a fun experience, and one that you’ll only do once! Do not stress about what to wear, how you do your makeup, or the fact that you just ran to Chi Omega from South Greek. We want you to come as you are, because YOU are perfect! 

Rush is a time when you’re going to meet so many new people and is the first time that you’ll be experiencing living in a dorm instead of your childhood bedroom. It’s important that you take time for yourself, eat and drink lots of water, text your mom (she’ll be waiting for your response), and stay true to yourself. Do not worry about what other people want you to do, this is a life changing decision that is going to change your college experience. It sounds scary, but I promise it’s going to give you your lifetime best friends. 

So, future PNM, take a deep breath. You are going to do amazing because you’re you! This process is built to celebrate your authenticity. August is going to be here before you know it. My final piece of advice: hug your pets extra hard, I missed my dog the most (sorry mom)!
